Problems and solution of the drug

Problems and solution of the drug

Billions of dollars are spent internationally preventing drug use, treating addicts, and fighting drug-related crime. Although drugs threaten many societies, This essay looks at some of the effects of drug use on society, and suggests some solutions to the problem.

Drug abuse causes multiple problems for countries and communities. The medical and psychological effects are very obvious. Addicts cannot function as normal members of society. They neglect or abuse their families, and eventually require expensive treatment or hospitalization. The second effect is on crime. Huge police resources are needed to fight smuggling and dealing. Criminal gangs and mafia underworlds develop with the money from drugs.

However, the menace of drugs can be fought. Education is the first battle. Children need to be told at home and in school about drugs. People need to be aware of the effects so that they can make avoid this problem. A second approach is to increase police manpower and powers to stop dealers and to enforce the law. However the main target should be the user. Families and counselors need to talk to children and people at risk.

In conclusion, although the problem of drugs may seem impossible to eliminate, there are concrete steps that can be taken to weaken the hold of drugs on society. The danger from drugs is too great to ignore.

The UK countries

This table provides seven categories of information for three beautiful places, Scotland, England and Wales. Over all, these nations have few similar characteristics.

Starting with population, the least is Wales which has 2.6 million people while Scotland has just 5.2 million, followed by the highest with 47million which is England. Again England has the biggest land area; it is around double of Scotland and 6 times of Wales. In like manner, the entire group shares the same cool and wet climate, but the terrain is almost same between Scotland and Wales are mountainous but in England it’s mainly flat. All these countries have official language which is English. Like Wales has two main languages English and Welsh. Scotland also has two language English and Gaelic. So sure the England has English too as official language. In the Scotland most of the economy’s dependence on oil production engineering and tourism. Other counties economy completely different, like England they have manufacturing, chemical and commercial services same with Wales, it have mainly agriculture with manufacturing and mining. Turning to exports, we can see that no of this group have the same exports each one of them have his own exportation, and this make them stronger, because each of them dependence on each other . Wales the export the wool, dairy products and coal. Scotland has the Oil, heavy engineering products and fish. They are not like export the industrial products, pharmaceuticals and the banking services same as England it do. And in Wales the export the wool, dairy products and coal.

To sum up, none of the countries has much in common. Nevertheless, I think this good for each of them to keep the life moving between them.

Public transport expenditures for British commuters (model answer)

This bar chart illustrates how many pounds sterling five age groups in Britain spent weekly on three forms of public transport in 2003. Overall, the older people get, the less they spend

First, the youngest, those under 30, spent about 6.3 pounds per week on taxis. The group age 30-50 spent almost as much and those 50-65 marginally less, around 5.9 quid. In contrast, the 65-75 year olds put out less than half that and the eldest group only about 1.5 pounds weekly turning to rail transport, again the youngest group allotted the most for this form of transport, nearly 4 pounds weekly. The two groups covering 30-65 years averaged approximately 2.2 while those over 65 spent, again, about half that. Finally, bus took the smallest proportion of the transportation budget, roughly 1.7 quid for people up to 65. The last two groups spent slightly more on bus than train.

To sum up, cabs took the lion’s share of the transportation budget for all. In general, those of working age use significantly more on public transport than the elderly

The highest spending for both groups is electronic equipment and the least is photography. However, youngest group has less interest to read books and magazines than the oldest group. The 2nd group likes to spend their time in the garden more than the other group. Sports activity a strong and healthy body, that’s why the 1st group is spending their time on it , not the as the old people . they feel tired and scared to brake their knee or injured.

One of Abu Dhabi problems

One of Abu Dhabi problems

Abu Dhabi is one of the most modern cities in the world, it is facing a problem of traffic overcrowding. Many residents spend hours stuck in traffic every day. This is a complex problem with many serious causes and effects.

There are many reasons why we suffer traffic jams every day. One of these is the development and population growth. As a result of this, the number of cars is increasing annually. A further point is that there are more female drivers and younger drivers today than in the past. The increase in the number of trucks and commercial vehicles also causes traffic congestion. These vehicles move very slowly, sometimes stopping to unload goods, and blocking traffic. Road works are a final major problem that can lead to streets being very crowded.

Traffic congestion also has many effects. One of the most important is parking problems. People find it difficult to park their cars, especially in the city center. Long delays in getting to and from work are another result, leading to less productivity from employees. There are also more accidents, because people become frustrated or angry due to the traffic jams. Finally, pollution in the city center worsens as a result of car emissions, and the city becomes a less attractive place to live. Shops are forced to close in the city center and have to relocate to malls or to the outskirts of the city, where parking is available.

In conclusion, although Abu Dhabi has good roads and modern infrastructure, it is suffering from traffic problems. There is no simple solution to this problem because it has many causes, but the effects are damaging both the city and the people who live there. The government should try to remedy this problem.
